Bayunggede Village

An ancient look with old-type but antique earth wall decorating Bayunggede Village enables to bring us back to the old times. The local villagers still run unique tradition, such as keeping baby’s colon in coconut shell and then hang it on the tree located in Setra or colon’s cemetery.


Kintamani presents fantastic view of Mount Batur whose cater is 7 meter in diameter and has a clear blue lake and fresh air.

Visitors are encouraged to sail across the lake to reach to an ancient village in Bali, the Truyan Village. In this village, the local people have a unique habit, that is, laying down the dead body under the big tree in order to get rid of the bad smell from the body.

Penglipuran Village

Penglipuran Village is beautified with the clustered buildings employing ancient architecture. All buildings in the village are constructed in orderly manner as they are decorated with same fence and front entries.
