Indonesia Tourism Award 2010 stands for the cooperation between the Ministry of Tourism with SWA magazine. This is intended to increase tourism in Indonesia (Indonesia Tourism Target), which are expected to work closely intertwined and mutually beneficial relationship between local government and tourism industry players in various areas with an effort to give recognition and appreciation to those who excel and encourage all actors in the tourism industry directly and indirectly to continue to improve the quality of its services for foreign and local tourists.

ITA Survey was conducted between 16 August and 14 October 2010 involving 1619 local and foreign tourists as the respondents who performed at 25 City and County elected, with results gathered through focus group discussions and questionnaires.
